BADMOOD

Written and recorded in my apartment with my close friend and co-producer Mannayah Louis, the song was inspired by my messy apartment that I was living in at the time. Primarily as a result of my broken wrist at the time. The song talks about the effects of an unclean living environment on the mind. Going to work and needing to existing as a worker to make money is still a necessity even in a less than ideal physical state.

Haven’t cleaned my room and it puts me in a bad, bad
Haven’t cleaned my room and it puts me in a bad, bad
Haven’t cleaned up my room and I’m rolling up and sad
Haven’t cleaned my room and it puts me in a bad
Mood

I don’t really care if you like it or not
Cause I got lotta different people tryna see what I’m on
And if you’re living in the back of my room
then you got a lot of people cutting to get inside of your call
Trying to open up your drawer
Trying to open up your backpack
Open up your car
Instead of being on salts
Tryna run around
Tryna get the back end of the lot
Instead of working a lot
Like the people trying to get me
Tryna see what I got
And if you’re living life for packing
Then you’re living a lot
And me?
Ooooo
I don’t write a lot

But I like to spit a little
On the track hotter than the oil in a griddle
Bars over your head monkey in the middle
Why should I care if I’ll only be belittled
Say

Do what you want
What you want?
What you want

Do what you want
What you want?
What you want

Do what you want
What you want?
What you want

Talking way too fast just because I cannot get through (Do what you want)
What I got inside my heart
Cause I’m trying to get your bodies to get up (Do what you want)
Let them move move move move move move
Will they or will they? (Do what you want)
I really don’t care
Living in my mind
Cause you know I got air
Breathe it in, breathe it in, breath it in, breathe it (Want)
What you want?
