I made friends with Brett Carrion through my eventual roommate Kevin Marcos. Brett had met Hunter and Alex who were working on a project. They were in need of a bass player and I was more than happy to step in and fill that role. We practiced repeatedly at the UCF parking garages and managed to get kicked out multiple times for being too loud. We nailed that set and basically all of us could play it with our eyes closed! We didn’t play too many shows but we did compete in the Full Sail battle of the bands and won 1st place! Our invigorating live show clearly stood out to audiences and luckily we managed to get our project released before members moved all over to different parts of the country.
